Pedro Echeverría has focused his practice in antitrust law and administrative and commercial litigation. He has experience in corporate law, project financing and insolvency related proceedings. In his career, he has been involved in emblematic and highly complex cases and transactions.

In the field of antitrust law, Pedro Echeverria specializes in defending and advising clients in matters relating to abuse of dominant position (monopolization), cartels, merger control and compliance programs, among others.

Prior to founding Echeverria-Ilharreborde-Scagliotti in 2015, Pedro Echeverria worked for 8 years in Claro & Cia. and, during 2012 and 2013, he worked for Shearman & Sterling LLP, New York.

Pedro Echeverría was Assistant Professor of Civil Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile between 2007 and 2015, and had served as assistant professor for such university in various areas of law over the past 12 years.

His practice focuses on environmental law, litigation and arbitration, natural resources, aquiculture, and project development. He has recognized experience in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation, which allows him to provide a global strategic assessment to his clients.

He has been recognized by different international rankings of lawyers in the area of Environmental Law.

Since 2013, he is a Professor of Civil Procedure at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is also a professor of Renewable Projects Development at the LL.M. of the same university.

Prior to founding Echeverría-Ilharreborde-Scagliotti in 2015, he worked for 9 years in the litigation and the Environmental department of Claro y Cia., and during 2011-2012, he worked as foreign associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, New York.

José Pedro Scagliotti has focused his practice in environmental law, natural resources, mining and litigation, participating in several significant and highly complex cases and transactions.

In his career, José Pedro Scagliotti has specialized his practice in the defense of cases regarding environmental, regulatory, mining, sanitary and water law matters, focusing in commercial and administrative litigation related to those matters. Additionally, he has advised mining and energy companies on matters of environmental and regulatory compliance, taking part in related project finance and M&A transactions as well.

Prior to joining Echeverría-Ilharreborde-Scagliotti, José Pedro Scagliotti worked for 7 years in Claro & Cia. and, during 2013 y 2014, he worked for Gallagher & Kennedy, Phoenix.
